PROJECT BACKGROUND
Inspired by Connelly's Run, a historic property that has been passed down through the Armentrout family since the early 1930s The Wildwood Park mural proposal site is one of Radford's under-utilized assets. At this time, the proposed site sees a lot of traffic but leaves little for the imagination. As Radford City continues to grow and prosper, so should the infrastructure that connects and supports the Radford recreational, arts, and nature community. This physical intersection of biology and creativity will transform an otherwise uninviting space into one that brings pride to Radford City.

Radford City Sheriff, Mark Armentrout and his mother purchased the Spring Meadow painting, by local artsit Sterling Boyd, at a City Council meeting to launch our fundraising efforts for the Wildwood Mural Projects. We are so thankful for his support and contribution to this project!
